The Oakley BXTR pays homage to Baxter Street, a popular skatepark in Los Angeles where style and authenticity are always evident, as are these frames. The sunglasses were designed by the Oakley® design team, who worked closely with friends of the brand to find the next fresh take on lifestyle eyewear. The plant-based BiO-Matter®* frame material provides lightweight, comfortable and durable performance.
• Prizm™ Technology: Patented by the Oakley brand. Its purpose is to increase contrast and flit light, which makes the colours we perceive more saturated. By choosing models that use this solution, you will see more detail than the naked human eye can pick up.
• Unobtainium™: A nose piece made from a special rubber called Unobtainium, created in 1975 by brand founder Jim Jannard.
The unique properties of this rubber mean that, when exposed to water or perspiration, the glasses do not slip but become even more adhesive.
• BiO-Matter®: Frame material made of biomaterials containing at least 56% bio-based carbon (equivalent to the ratio of castor oil to fossil sources)
